Telemedicine technology is playing an increasingly important role in the modern healthcare system, especially in the monitoring, treatment adherence, and management of patients with obstructive sleep apnea syn-drome(OSAS).OSAS is a common sleep disorder characterized by repeated collapse of the upper airway during sleep, resulting in apnea or significant hypoventilation.Traditional approaches to the management of OSAS have of-ter relied on face-to-face consultations,in-hospital polysomnography, and continuous positive airway pressure thera-py.However,these methods are often constrained by geographical location, time constraints, and shortages of med-ical resources. This paper summarized the application forms(tele-video,tele-medical,tele-sleep monitoring, and tele-health management platform)and application effects of telemedicine in OSAS,and put forward some relevant appli-cation recommendations and strategies,so as to provide basis and reference for the development and application of telemedicine in patients with OSAS.
