A scope review of palliative care needs study in patients with HIV/AIDS
Objective To conduct a scope review of literature on hospice care needs of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)/acquiredimmune deficiency syndrome(AIDS)patients at home and abroad.Methods Using the scope re-view method as the framework,the literature of PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Embase,CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP databases were systematically searched from January 1,2000 to December 31,2023,and the in-cluded literature was summarized and analyzed.Results A total of 23 literatures were included,and the results showed that there was a huge demand for hospice care in HIV/AIDS patients,and the influencing factors of hospice use included demographic factors,disease factors,and medical personnel factors.Conclusion Hospice care needs of HIV/AIDS patients are diverse and complex,and the use of hospice care is affected by many factors.It is necessary to build scientific hospice care needs assessment tools,formulate targeted intervention strategies,and explore inter-vention effects,so as to promote the development of AIDS hospice care work.
