Study on the physical activity trajectory and its influencing factors in young patients with cervical cancer during chemotherapy
Objective To investigate the physical activity(PA)level and its influencing factors in young patients with cervical cancer at different stages of chemotherapy. Methods A total of 136 young cervical cancer patients who were hospitalized for chemotherapy in the gynecology department of our hospital from May 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects by convenience sampling method, and were conducted the questionnaire investigation by a general information survey form, the international physical activity questionnaire, the exervise self-efficacy scale, and the revised Pipe fatigue scale at 5 time points:Before chemotherapy(T1),after the first chemotherapy(T2),midway through chemotherapy(T3),after chemotherapy(T4),and 2 months after chemotherapy(T5).logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the influencing factors of PA.Results The rate of PA meeting the standard at 5 time points of chemotherapy in young cervical cancer patients was 35.29%,33.09%,27.94%,30.88%,and 50.74%,respectively,which showing a trend of first decreasing and then increasing, and the level of PA decreased to the lowest in the middle period of chemotherapy. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that exercise self-efficacy and cancer-related fatigue were important influencing factors for young cervical cancer pa-tients'PA in different stages of chemotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusion The overall level of PA in young cervical canc-er patients during chemotherapy is generally low,and exercise self-efficacy and cancer-related fatigue are the main in-fluencing factors. It is suggested that medical staff should pay attention to it,so as to provide a basis for further de-velopment of targeted intervention measures.
