Qualitative study on nursing quality evaluation of neonatal enterostomy from the perspective of medical staff
Objective To explore the cognition of medical staff on nursing quality evaluation of neonatal enterosto-my.Methods Four doctors and eleven nurses engaged in neonatal enterostomy related work in a Grade A general hos-pital in Guiyang from March to May 2023 were selected as the research object by purposeful sampling method,and were conducted a semi-structured interviews by phenomenological research method,and the acquired data were ana-lyzed and themes were extracted using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method.Results A total of 9 topics were extracted,among which 4 subjects related to nursing structure quality evaluation:Nursing management system of enterostomy,nursing staff allocation,theoretical knowledge and skills training of enterostomy,and the establishment of multidis-ciplinary teams;Three subjects related to nursing process quality evaluation:Disease condition observation and as-sessment,health education,and continuous nursing;Two subjects related to nursing outcome quality evaluation:In-cidence rate of complication and medical resources.Conclusion The related topics of neonatal enterostomy nursing quality evaluation extracted from the perspective of medical staff can be used as the next step to provide a reference for the construction of a reasonable,scientific and applicable index system to improve the quality of neonatal enteros-tomy nursing.
