Research progress on the application of occupational therapy in pulmonary rehabilitation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Pulmonary rehabilitation is an important non-pharmacological intervention for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and its effectiveness is undoubted.However,occupational therapy(OT)as part of pulmonary rehabilitation has not yet been well understood in terms of its unique role in rehabilitation treat-ment.This article introduced the current application status of OT and its role in the pulmonary rehabilitation of COPD patients,focusing on the concept,theory,research tools,application methods and effects of OT in pulmona-ry rehabilitation of COPD patients.The aim was to provide a reference for the clinical practice of OT in pulmonary rehabilitation of COPD patients in China.
