Application of case-based scenario simulation teaching in"Internet+Nursing Service"training management
Objective To explore the effectiveness of case-based scenario simulation in training management for"Internet+Nursing Services."Methods A total of 48 nurses from our hospital who met the online qualification crite-ria for"Internet+Nursing Services"were selected as the research objects,and the publication of formal quality con-trol guidelines for"Internet+Nursing Services"in Zhejiang province(by the end of 2022)and our hospital's annual review window for new applicants(at the end of December every year)were took as the boundaries,nurses trained with traditional methods from January to February 2022 were designated as the pre-intervention group,while those trained with traditional methods enhanced by case-based scenario simulation from January to February 2023 formed the post-intervention group.The theoretical and practical assessment,risk management,and emergency response capabilities of online qualified nurses before and after intervention were compared.Results Post-intervention,theo-retical and practical assessment scores of online qualified nurses improved compared to pre-intervention,showing sta-tistically significant differences across areas except for medical waste disposal in practical assessments(P<0.01).After the intervention,the risk management and emergency response capabilities of online qualified nurses were sig-nificantly improved compared with those before the intervention(P<0.01).Conclusion Case-based scenario simula-tion teaching may effectively standardize the skill operation of online qualified nurses,and improving risk management and emergency response capabilities in home care,so as to fulfill the requirements of job competency.
