In 2020,General Secretary Xi Jinping made an important instruction of"keeping the water in Hanjiang River clear"during his visit to Chaozhou.In recent years,by grasping the top-lev-el design,strengthening the organizational guidance,adhering to precise policies,improving the gover-nance capacity,and basically achieving the construction and publicity,ecological and economic win-win situation,the construction of ecological civilization in the Hanjiang River Basin has shown a con-tinuous and good development trend.In order to further implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's im-portant instruction and actively practice Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization in eastern Guangdong,it is imperative to attach great importance to and strictly abide by the principle that hu-man beings and nature are a community of life,the principle that economic development and ecologi-cal protection advance together,and the principle that ecological civilization is systematically promot-ed.Moreover,it is essential to explore the practical path of ecological civilization construction in the Hanjiang River Basin under the guidance of the scientific method of the"Six Musts".
