The Relationship between Professional Satisfaction and Academic Motivation among University Students——The Mediating Role of Academic Self-Efficacy
A questionnaire survey was conducted on 304 university students using the Professional Satisfaction Scale,the Academic Motivation Scale,and the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale to investi-gate the relationship between professional satisfaction,academic self-efficacy and academic motivation among university student,and to examine the mediating role of academic self-efficacy in the relation-ship between professional satisfaction and academic motivation.The survey has shown that:university students'professional satisfaction can significantly and positively predict academic self-efficacy and ac-ademic motivation;academic self-efficacy can significantly and positively predict academic motivation;and academic self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between professional satisfaction and academ-ic motivation.The results suggest that professional satisfaction can indirectly affect university students'motivation through academic self-efficacy.
