This paper adopts the grounded theory and uses the"New National Standards"as the basis to conduct a three-level encoding of texts including the training program,teaching materials,teaching syllabus,test syllabus,and instructional design for undergraduate Japanese major students.The word frequency search function of the analysis software Nvivo 12 is used to analyze the content of categories step by step.Furthermore,a path model for cultivating the innovative ability of Japanese major students is constructed in terms of the two major sections of policy planning and teaching prac-tice.The model explains and analyzes the six influencing factors of the training path,including train-ing objectives,curriculum system,teaching methods,teachers'construction,industry-academia coop-eration,and self-improvement,providing suggestions for policy planning and teaching practice.
