The Threshold Effect of Tourism Development on the Quality of Rural Living Environment—Research Based on Urban Model of Anhui Province
Taking 16 prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province as an example,a threshold regression model is used to study the nonlinear impact of tourism development on the quality of rural living envi-ronment.The results show that:(1)The tourism development in Anhui Province is mainly concentrated in the southern region of Anhui,while the tourism industry level in the northern region of Anhui is rel-atively low,with obvious spatial differences and a trend of increasing year by year;(2)The quality of rural living environment in Anhui Province has not fluctuated significantly over time,with an overall spatial distribution of high in the south and low in the north;(3)The impact of tourism development on the quality of rural living environment shows an increasing trend of decreasing coefficient with the increase of tourism income density.By 2020,for cities with a tourism income density less than 3112.6746,the development of the tourism industry has a significant improvement effect on rural living environment;For cities with a tourism income density greater than 3112.6746 but less than 6645.4197,it is difficult for tourism to have a significant effect on improving rural living environment;For cities with a tourism income density greater than 6645.4197,the improvement in rural living environment has been minimal.
