From"Frame"to"Virtual Window"—Reflections on Spatial Expression in Digital Display of Products
The evolution from traditional"frame"theory to the emerging"virtual window"has giv-en rise to thinking about digital display space.This article elaborates on the generation of"window"and the extension of space by utilizing various sensory inputs such as visual and auditory senses to en-able"virtual window"to display items in an all aspects so as to enhance the user's participation and experience.The application strategies of immersive experience scheme with the blending of virtual space is discussed from three aspects:interactive display and personalized space experience,independent dis-play and"neutral space"experience,situational display and multi-dimensional space experience.
