Xianfeng is an important characteristic accompaniment instrument of Huizhou opera.Based on the analysis of the shape,performance characteristics and use scenes of Xianfeng,the paper elaborates in detail on the evolution process of the instrument in the development of Huizhou opera ac-companiment music,which includes four stages:"Huichi Yatiao","Siping-Kunyi","blowing and Pulling Together",and"the combination of Huiban and Han Opera".Two suggestions are proposed to address the issue of restoring the accompaniment instrument Xianfeng in Huizhou opera.Firstly,to maintain the artistic characteristics of Hui opera,and secondly,to strengthen the cultivation of talents in Huizhou op-era singing and exclusive instrument performance.
