The public art major is an emerging applied undergraduate program.Currently there are development difficulties in talent cultivation and curriculum design,facing problems such as homogenei-ty in education,mismatch between training models and market demands,and the urgent need for ideo-logical and political education.In light of these challenges,a series of solutions are proposed,including the establishment of a talent cultivation guarantee system,the formulation of an exclusive professional characteristic talent training model,and the implementation of strategic measures to enhance the develop-ment of the public art major.The aim is to create a talent cultivation and teaching model that aligns with the unique characteristics of the profession,thereby promoting the specialization of applied under-graduate institutions and building a solid foundation for diversified talent cultivation.
