Research on the Resilience Measurement and Obstacle Factors of Urban Tourist Industry—A Case Study of Ten Tourism Cities in China under the Impact of the Covid-19
An evaluation index for the resilience of the urban tourism industry was constructed from the dimensions of management, structure, supply, and demand. The entropy-TOPSIS method and ob-stacle degree model were adopted to explore the comprehensive measurement and obstacle factors and identify the weaknesses of tourism development in each city. This provides a certain reference as a uni-versal analysis framework for the resilience development of the urban tourism industry under the impact of sudden public crises.Research has found that in terms of resilience level, the management resilience, supply resilience, and demand resilience of the ten tourism cities are generally at a relatively low level, while structural resilience is relatively high, and overall resilience still needs to be improved. In terms of obstacles, the government management ability,PR index, and the growth of fixed investment in the tertiary sector of the economy over the previous year are the main common obstacles to the improve-ment of the resilience level of urban tourism.Tourist cities should strengthen the role of"leading-type of tourist cities"in the resilient development of the tourism industry, adhere to the development strategy of balancing advantages and disadvantages, and effectively enhance the resilience of the industry.
