A Study on She Qiao's Life and Works in the Late Ming Dynasty
In the late Ming Dynasty,a legendary Liangjiang Ji composed by She Qiao,a play-wright in southern Anhui,is still in existence.In Liangjiang Ji,he expressed the disappointment of many literati in their"Dozens of failing in the imperial civil examinations,"revealing his acceptance and reconsideration towards this in the emerging humanistic trend of thought in the late Ming Dynasty.Through the investigation of visits with others and close reading of their works,it provides evidence for the exploration of the ideological changes in the literati at that time and discovers their similar dis-course space and underlying logic,which will be beneficial to the clarification of the literati in southern Anhui in the late Ming Dynasty.
