Exploration on the Transformation of Urban Industrial Sites into Public Cultural Spaces in Anhui Province
The transformation of urban industrial sites into public cultural spaces in Anhui Province can better inherit and preserve the history and culture of Anhui,promote the diversification and regener-ation of urban functions in Anhui,and enrich the cultural life and community interaction of Anhui resi-dents.Based on this,the theory of place identity is introduced in the transformation process of urban in-dustrial sites into public cultural spaces,which is realized from three aspects:strengthening spatial orien-tation identity,promoting spatial cultural identity,and realizing spatial experience identity.Through visu-al form renewal,site function replacement,and place spirit implantation,the exploration of partial site space of Hefei Iron and Steel Works into Smelting and Steel Museum is completed.It is expected to provide ideas and thoughts for the transformation of industrial sites in Anhui province.
