Establishing a comprehensive national spatial planning system, rigidly demarcating three zones and three lines, and implementing pragmatic village planning tailored to local conditions, represent effective practices in advancing orderly urban-rural development and ensuring ecological and environmen-tal safety in the new era. This paper, grounded in an ecological constraint perspective, focuses on villag-es in the southern Anhui mountainous region.Addressing challenges such as multiple ecological redlines and severe land fragmentation in these villages, the study proposes multifaceted development strategies encompassing local characteristics, ecological environment, production dynamics, and living facilities. The objective is to deepen the coordinated development of villages with respect to ecology, production, and living conditions, thereby fostering rural revitalization and achieving shared prosperity.Additionally, the paper takes the typical village of Machuan in Longmen Township,Huangshan City,as a case study,ex-ploring the application of development strategies for southern Anhui mountainous villages under ecologi-cal constraints in the context of planning.
