The education of outdoor sports camp for teenagers is to improve their health,shape their personality,improve their interpersonal relationship and adapt to the society through their orga-nized,purposeful and varied outdoor sports activities.In recent years,our country attaches great impor-tance to the development of outdoor sports camp education,and the research on the theory and practice of outdoor sports camp education has become a hot topic.By summarizing the characteristics of out-door sports camp education,this paper analyzes the present situation of the implementation of outdoor sports camp education at home and abroad,and expounds the functions of setting up outdoor sports camp education courses in colleges and universities,this paper puts forward some suggestions on setting up outdoor sports camp in colleges and universities.It provides a reference for the universities to bring the outdoor sports camp education into the training process of various professionals.
