A Study on the Current Situation and Changes of Vocational College Students'Self-esteem
This study examines 2511 vocational college students using the "Scale of Young Students'Self-es-teem"and employs a multi-dimensional approach to investigate their self-esteem.It offers a comprehensive analysis of the current status and longitudinal trends in vocational college students'self-worth,with a focus on identifying key factors influencing it.The findings indicate a significant improvement in vocational college students'overall self-worth compared to national norms,with a trend towards gender convergence.Economic and societal development factors in-teract with family education methods,family structure,and geographic location,collectively shaping vocational col-lege students'self-worth.Consequently,leveraging opportunities arising from rapid economic and societal progress can positively impact vocational college students'self-worth,Therefore,it's recommended to strengthen school-family cooperation,cultivate students'positive self-awareness,address individual differences with personalized support,and enhance students'self-worth through interventions like "Great Ideological and Political Courses"and social practice platforms.
