Research and Practice on Project-based and Task-based Curriculum Reform——A case study of core course "Drilling Engineering"in higher vocational education
Curriculum construction and reform serve as the cornerstone for enhancing teaching quality and are pivotal in driving teaching reforms. This study focuses on the implementation of project-based,task-oriented cur-riculum reform within the core course of Drilling Engineering for higher vocational petroleum engineering majors at the National Training Base for Petroleum Engineering.By integrating project-based methodologies into curriculum design and execution, alongside comprehensive and multidimensional assessment strategies, students'competencies and at-tributes have been significantly enhanced.Classroom feedback and research findings underscore the marked improve-ment in students'learning engagement and autonomy as a result of the project-based,task-oriented curriculum re-form.Furthermore,the reform has effectively fostered students'practical operational skills, communication, and col-laborative capacities, thereby enhancing their overall aptitude. This initiative has not only bolstered students'profi-ciency in the curriculum but has also established a robust foundation for their future endeavors in the oil and gas in-dustry.
