Practice of Blended Workshop Teaching Model in the Integration of Industry and Education in Open University——Taking Preschool Education Major as an Example
Deepening the integration of industry and education in open education hinges on robust collabora-tion with enterprises in related sectors and the enhancement of cooperative education through industry-university-re-search partnerships. The blended workshop teaching model,as a career-oriented approach, underscores the develop-ment of practical skills through industry-university-research collaboration, with the fusion of academic credentials and skill training at its core.Against the backdrop of China's economic transformation and upgrading, and in response to the market demand for skilled professionals, this teaching model has emerged as a proactive means to cultivate ap-plied talents who possess knowledge, professionalism, skills, and innovation, thereby aiming to yield significant so-cial benefits by supporting regional education and economic development.Nonetheless, when applied to the integra-tion of industry and education in open universities, this model has revealed shortcomings such as inaccurate demand alignment, superficial integration, and weak cultural foundation.Hence,it is imperative to anticipate and address these issues promptly, drawing valuable lessons and insights. The key to successful implementation of the blended workshop teaching model lies in the provision of exceptional teaching resources and the promotion of cultural exchange and mutual recognition among participants, thus transforming this model into a generative teaching approach. This transformation can significantly bolster the efforts of open universities in enhancing the quality and efficiency of indus-try-education integration.
