Mutual Recognition of Online Open Curriculum Credit in Higher Education:Challenges,Operational Mechanisms, and Practical Approaches
The promotion of Credit Mutual Recognition of Online Open Curriculum stands as a potent means for advancing higher education in China.Despite recent strides, challenges persist. These include the absence of a ro-bust curriculum quality assurance mechanism, inadequacies in operational modalities, and incomplete management structures.Addressing these issues requires stakeholders in Credit Mutual Recognition initiatives to anchor efforts on a foundation of credit.Key measures involve establishing mechanisms for curriculum quality assurance, devising stand-ards for credit recognition and conversion, and implementing effective management protocols.Drawing from these principles,Zhejiang Province has developed comprehensive mechanisms encompassing the "construction-operation-evaluation"framework for curriculum quality assurance,a multidimensional credit recognition and conversion stand-ard system, and a"platform-institution"model for scientific management.Looking ahead, challenges such as credi-bility,participation,and policy frameworks for Credit Mutual Recognition remain to be addressed.
