作为学习型社会概念的诞生地,美国的学习型社会建设走在世界前列.其显著特征表现为:在线学习助力任何时间学习、社区学院推动任何地点学习、法律条文保障任何人物学习、开放课堂助推任何领域学习.以数字赋能终身学习体系建设、社区联动形成多方参与格局、资源调配促进教育均衡发展、知识共享引领全面教育机制,美国的学习型社会建设史对我国的学习型社会建设具有借鉴意义.
Reasons,Realistic Characteristics,and Experiences in Constructing a Learning Society in the United States
The idea of"Learning Society"sparked a global movement,with many countries achieving signifi-cant milestones in constructing their own learning societies.As the birthplace of this concept,the United States has been at the forefront of this endeavor.Several factors have contributed to the rise of the learning society in the U.S.:the civil rights movement advocating for equal educational opportunities,the quality of education crisis spurred by in-ternational competition,the motivation for learning driven by technological innovation,and the increase in leisure time resulting from efficient production.Currently,online learning in the U.S.facilitates anytime learning,communi-ty colleges promote learning anywhere,laws and regulations protect everyone's right to learn,and open classrooms en-courage learning across various fields.The history of constructing a learning society in the U.S.offers valuable in-sights for China's efforts in this area.Future directions for building a learning society in China include developing a lifelong learning system enabled by digital technologies,fostering community linkages to create a multi-participatory framework,allocating resources to promote balanced educational development,and leading comprehensive education-al mechanisms through knowledge sharing.
