Empirical Study of Cultural Context Preservation from the Perspective of Urban Renewal
As the economy rapidly develops and urban land becomes increasingly saturated,urban renewal has become a critical component of urban construction in China.However,many urban renewal projects in the coun-try face the challenge of losing historical symbols and authenticity,often being replaced by a uniform"internet celeb-rity style."This trend leads to the erosion of unique historical characteristics and cultural temperament,resulting in the gradual disappearance of urban context.To address this issue,it is essential to explore urban renewal strategies that prioritize cultural heritage preservation.This involves understanding the essence of urban cultural heritage,as-sessing the practical significance of protecting cultural heritage during urban renewal,and proposing specific strategies to address the prominent issues observed in current urban renewal practices in China.
