Construction and Evaluation of Digital Literacy Index System for Open University Teachers——A Research Perspective Based on the Structural Equation Model
In today's digital age,the transformation of education through digitalization is reshaping the land-scape,and improving teachers'digital literacy is not only essential for driving this transformation but also for building the foundation of future educational ecosystems.Open universities, characterized by the integration of modern infor-mation technologies, require teachers to possess strong digital literacy.A scientifically grounded evaluation of this lit-eracy is crucial for enhancing teaching effectiveness and advancing the digital transformation of these institutions. However, practical challenges remain, including the lack of a comprehensive and scientifically designed evaluation system,as well as insufficient institutional frameworks, policies, smart platforms, and digital resources to support this development. In response to these challenges, this study draws on the"Teacher Digital Literacy"standards issued by the Ministry of Education and takes into account the unique context of open university faculty. It proposes a digital lit-eracy evaluation index system and an accompanying structural equation model tailored for open university teachers, offering a practical approach to improving their digital literacy.
