醒悟义"闹(了)半天"的话语功能及形成动因与机制

摘要
现代汉语中,"闹(了)半天"是日常交际中经常使用的多义形式,本文主要从演变过程、话语功能及形成动因与机制三个方面对醒悟义"闹(了)半天"展开考察.研究表明,"闹(了)半天"由动词短语到具有醒悟义的话语标记经过了词汇化和语法化的过程;醒悟义"闹(了)半天"的核心话语功能为标记反预期事实信息,"闹(了)半天"所标记的反预期事实信息通常是与说话者预期相反的内容;此外,醒悟义"闹(了)半天"有一定的情感表达倾向,具有较强的主观性.而"闹(了)半天"浮现出上述话语功能的动因是出于其在交际中情感表达的迫切需求,在其高频使用的推动下,通过语境吸收的机制逐渐形成的.
Abstract
In modern Chinese,"Nào(le)Bàntiān"(闹(了)半天)is a commonly used polysemous ex-pression in daily communication.This paper investigates the realization sense of"Nào(le)Bàntiān"(闹(了)半天)from three perspectives:its evolutionary process,discourse function,and formation mecha-nisms.The research indicates that the transformation of"Nào le Bàntiān"(闹了半天)from a verb phrase to a discourse marker with a realization sense involves both lexicalization and grammaticalization.The core discourse function of the realization sense in"Nào le Bàntiān"(闹了半天)is to signal information that contradicts expectations,usually presenting content contrary to the speaker's initial assumptions.Moreo-ver,the realization sense in"Nào le Bàntiān"(闹了半天)tends to express certain emotions,exhibiting strong subjectivity.The emergence of these discourse functions in"Nào le Bàntiān"(闹了半天)is driven by an urgent need for emotional expression in communication.This process is gradually shaped by the mechanism of contextual absorption facilitated by its frequent usage.
