Simultaneous determination of perchlorate and five disinfection by-products in drinking water by ion chromatography
A method for simultaneous determination of ClO4-and ClO2-,ClO3-,BrO3-,DCAA,TCAA in drinking water by ion chromatography was established. The samples were filtered by 0.22 μm microporous filter, and the injection volume was 500 μL.The samples were eluted with 8-60 mmol/L potassium hydroxide solution at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min,separated by InoPac AS19 column, and determined by conductivity detector. The mass concentration of ClO2-and ClO3-had a good linear relationship with the chromatographic peak area in the range of 0.05-2.0 mg/L,and the correlation coefficient was 0.999 9 and 0.999 4,respectively.The mass concentrations of ClO4-,BrO3-,DCAA and TCAA had a good linear relationship with the chromatographic peak area in the range of 0.005-0.2 mg/L,and the correlation coefficients were 0.999 7-0.999 9.The detection limits of six anion methods were 1.1-6.0 μg/L.The average recoveries of low, medium and high levels were 94.0%-101%,and the relative standard deviations of the six measurement results were 0.37%-2.01%.This method has high detection efficiency and can simultaneously determine ClO4-and ClO2-,ClO3-,BrO3-,DCAA,TCAA 5 disinfection by-products,which is suitable for the detection of drinking water.
