From May to June in 2014,excavations conducted by Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and other institutes were carried out at Shaozhuang Site in Ningling,preceding the construction of Shangqiu-Dengfeng Expressway.Ruins of houses,ash pits and other remains were revealed,and pottery,porcelains,ironware and other relics were discovered.The finds are new archaeological evidence for the research into the floods of the Yellow River,social life,porcelains for daily use,etc.,in eastern Henan during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
