Through multi-dimensional analysis of single-person burials of three periods,namely the Banshan phase of Majiayao Culture and Machang phase of Majiayao Culture and Qijia Culture period of Liuwan Cemetery,the indicative variables of the difference in social status of the deceased are determined.The findings are subsequently analyzed along with gender,age and other social attributes in the exploration into the manifestation of social status differentiation in each period of Liuwan Cemetery and the diachronic observation of the development of social complexity.
