A large number of Han tombs have been excavated in Xinzheng in recent years.They are of great significance in revealing the aspects of archaeological cultures and glimpsing the social changes in Western Han and Eastern Han.Through the analysis of cultural elements,it is found that the cultural factors of Han tombs discovered in Xinzheng fall into three categories,respectively common factors shared by Han tombs,local cultural factors and external cultural factors.Based on the common factors that newly emerged in Han Dynasty,the Han culture of Xinzheng took shape during the time from the end of late Western Han to Wang Mang's reign,and matured in mid Eastern Han.The cultural exchanges between Xinzheng and Guanzhong,places of Chu,Yangtze-Huai and Shandong were mainly influenced by politics,economy,transportation and other social and historical environments.
