From September to December in 2018,in coordination with the construction of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, joint archaeological surveys and excavations by the School of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage of Zhengzhou University and Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology were carried out at Lutai Site in Liuzhai Village,Hebi.Cultural relics of the Han Dynasty, including pottery kilns, wells, ash pits and tombs, were identified after the excavations. In addition to common pottery vessels for daily life, pottery items for construction and production were also unearthed. All the finds lead to the conclusion that this is the site of a small pottery kiln workshop functioning as a residence and also a production floor.
