Quantitative Measurements of Second-Order Nonlinear Susceptibility with Collinear Reflective Second Harmonic Generation
Polarization-dependent second harmonic gen-eration is a widely utilized technique for char-acterizing symmetry. However,in collinear re-flective geometry, the essential beam-splitting device significantly influences both the polar-ization state of the fundamental and harmonic beams, thereby affecting the accuracy of the obtained second-order nonlinear susceptibility. Here,we propose a data correction method to solve this problem to obtain accurate second-order nonlinear susceptibility. The feasibility and generality of the method are demonstrated through theoretical and experimental valida-tion.
