Preparation of CeO2 nanoparticles and photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline
Ceria was prepared by chemical precipitation method with ammonia as precipitant and ethylene glycol as dispersant. The morphology of CeO2 nanoenzyme was analyzed and characterized by TG,XRD,BET and SEM.The effect of the amount of ethylene glycol on CeO2 nanoenzyme was studied, and the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline was investigated. The Experimental re-sults show that the optimum conditions are as follows:molar ratio of ethylene glycol to cerium nitrate 4:1,dosage 0.6 g·L-1,pH=7,stirring rate 300 r·min-1,temperature 40 ℃,current 15 mA and stirring time 20 min. However, after the catalyst was reused for 5 times, the degradation rate was decreased significantly.
