Determination of chromium in Ferric ammonium citrate by Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry
OBJECTIVE To detect chromium in Ferric ammonium citrate by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometric method.METHODS Nitric acid was selected as the digestive acid. The ashing temperature was 1500 ℃,and the atomization temperature was 2300 ℃.RESULTS The method exhibited a detection limit of 0.26 ng·mL-1 with r of 0.9990.RSD of precision test was 1.85%.The average recovery was 96.92%,RSD of recovery was 2.77%(n=9).CONCLUSION The method is accurate with high sensitivity and specificity, and suitable for the determination of chromium in Ferric ammonium citrate.
