Study on the analgesic effect of Lidocaine combined with hydrogen sulfide donor molecule
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of gas signaling molecule H2S on the analgesic effects of Lidocaine.METHODS Sodium hydrosulfide served as the donor molecule of H2S in conjunction with Lidocaine. The impact of H2S on the analgesic properties of Lidocaine was assessed through a systematic evaluation of various pain-related behaviors, foot swelling degree, and HE staining in mice.RESULTS Compared to the Lidocaine group, the Lidocaine combined with high and medium doses of sodium hydrosulfide(30 μmol·kg-1 and 15 μmol·kg-1)groups demonstrated significant analgesic effects on pain models in mice.Simultaneously,it significantly reduced the degree of swelling and inflammatory cell infiltration of hind paws in mice with inflammation.CONCLUSION The combination of hydrogen sulfide effectively enhances the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of Lidocaine.
