Real-time PPP offshore tide telemetry methods and experiments
To reduce the cost and improve the applicability of real-time offshore tide telemetry, this paper proposes an offshore tide data acquisition and extraction method based on real-time precise point positioning(RTPPP).A GNSS receiver equipped with real-time PPP and telecommunication functions was used for offshore tide telemetry using a small buoy. After gross error removal, averaging and S-G filtering, the measurement errors caused by changes in buoy attitude caused by wind, waves and currents were well eliminated. The corresponding software and hardware are developed and tested in the sea off Tianjin port. The test results are better than±8 cm,and the overall median error is±3.7 cm,which meets the requirements of Marine observation specifications.Compared with the current data acquisition method based on pressure sensor and acoustic communication, the proposed method has the characteristics with lower construction cost, simple observation mode, convenient maintenance in later period, and good industrialization prospect therefore it can be further promoted in practical projects.
