摘要
海洋次中尺度现象伴随着剧烈的温盐梯度和强流,对海洋中的物质和能量交换产生重要影响.但由于次中尺度现象具有空间尺度小、时间变化快等特点,对其三维结构的现场调查仍较匮乏,制约了对其动力学和热力学机制的理解和认识.为了对海洋次中尺度现象调查方案设计提供参考,论述了目前海洋学主流观测手段在次中尺度现象观测的适用性,详细介绍了国际上大型次中尺度现象调查实验的作业方案,总结了各种调查方案的优缺点,最后对次中尺度现象的调查提出了意见建议.
Abstract
Oceanic submesoscale phenomena are accompanied by sharp temperature-salinity gradients and strong currents,which have an important impact on the exchange of matter and energy in the ocean.However,due to the small spatial scale and fast time-varying characteristics of submesoscale phenomena,on-site investigations of their three-dimensional structures are still scarce,which restricts the understanding of their dynamics and thermodynamic mechanisms.In order to provide a reference for the design of the oceanic submesoscale phenomenon investigation,the applicability of the current mainstream oceanographic observation methods in the submesoscale phenomenon observation is discussed,and the international large-scale submesoscale phenomenon investigation experiments are introduced in detail.The advantages and disadvantages of the investigation schemes are discussed,and finally put forward suggestions for the survey of submesoscale phenomena.
