Research on the construction method of seamless depth datum system
Aiming at the lack of a comprehensive,continuous,and seamless depth datum system for land and sea in the coastal region of South China,the inability to meet the demands of marine development,this paper analyzed the existing methods employed in constructing a seamless depth datum system.By establishing a seamless depth datum model along the coastal region of South China,we further reconstructed models for sea surface topography and mean sea surface height,completed depth datum model conversion between on geodetic height and normal height system.The conversion of depth datum to height datum has been achieved while also creating an application platform independently.These efforts significant process towards realizing a comprehensive seamless depth datum system for coastal region of South China.
