Based on the articles published in hydrographic surveying and charting,support fundings and institution distributions of the articles published in 2023,as well as the theme distributions of the articles published in the past 3 years are comprehensively analyzed in this paper.The latest research achievements and development status in some professional fields are extracted and summarized,such as marine geodesy and navigation,hydrographic survey,submarine topographic survey,nautical charting.Then,the gaps in research achievements in related fields are briefly introduced.Finally,the processes of draw on and absorb existed achievements,propose new theories and methods,realize new applications are also revealed tin this paper.The purpose of this paper is to provide theoretical and technical references for the vast number of scientific and technical personnel,whose undertake hydrographic surveying and charting work.
