On the Cultural Connotation of Chinese Grand Canal Story and the International Communication Strategies
The Grand Canal plays an indispensable role in the China's ongoing development,and is a vital symbol of China's traditional culture."Canal stories"are major parts of"Chinese stories".In the context of mutual learning among civilizations,this paper collected and summarized the stories concern-ing the Canal history,the Canal transportation,the control of the Canal flood and the Canal Gods to ex-plore the Canal cultural connotation,and further discussed the international communication strategies,with the aim of promoting the Grand Canal culture and enhancing China's cultural influence.
