Research on the Protection and Development of the Culture of Yellow River and the Canal in Liaocheng in the Context of the Culture-tourism Integration
Liaocheng,which is located at the intersection of the Yellow River and the Canal,is extreme-ly rich in cultural resources related to the Yellow River and the Canal.In recent years,Liaocheng City has attached great importance to the protection and development of the culture of Yellow River and the Canal,and has achieved significant results in management mechanisms and project construc-tion.However,there are also problems and deficiencies such as insufficient systematic and comprehen-sive heritage protection,insufficient efforts in research and publicity,low level in development and utili-zation,and inadequate supporting service facilities.In response to this situation,Liaocheng City should take measures,such as increasing efforts to protect and interpret heritags,enriching the supply of tour-ism products,innovating the mode of tourism development,creating the brands of characteristic tourism,and improving supporting service facilities,to explore deeply the connotation and value of the Yellow River and the Canal culture,promote its innovative development and creative transformation,hence build Liaocheng into a"pearl city"where the two rivers converge.
