The promotion of values education among college students is of great significance for en-hancing the spiritual strength of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and contributing to the overall construction of a modern socialist country.Based on the important nodes of the great decade of the new era,and the in-depth investigation and empirical analysis of more than 10,000 college stu-dents from 34 colleges and universities across the country,this study summarizes the overall characteris-tics of college students'self-understanding of values and their political identity,moral literacy,growth and success,and focuses on issues that need to be concerned about in carrying out values education.Combinied with the requirements of"cultivating people by boosting moral educationgood"in the new journey and new era,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for consolidating political con-sensus,forging spiritual core,and cultivating new talents of the times in college students'value educa-tion.
