RESEARCHES ON SEAGRASS POLLUTION ECOLOGY AND THEIR PROSPECTS
Some results of researches on seagrass pollution ecology in the last two decades are summarized in this paper.These results mainly include the influence of heavy metals,pesticides and oil on seagrass.The researches on the effects of heavy metals on seagrass are mainly about the effects on the physiological functions of seagrass and the enrichment of seagrass.The researches on effects of pesticides on seagrass focus on the effects on the physiology and morphology of seagrass,as well as seagrass endurance of pesticides.The researches on effects of oil on seagrass mostly deal with the effects of oil spills and oil dispersants on seagrass.The main topics and directions of future researches on seagrass pollution ecology are also prospected.
