话语交叠是会话中的常见现象.当发生话语交叠时,交际各方需要采用适当的方式退出交叠,以维持会话顺利进行.从交叠退出时伴随的话轮表现形式看,话语交叠存在无形式表征的退出和有形式表征的退出两类情形,前者包括话轮刻意保持和话轮主动让出,后者包括使用话轮出让提示语、使用话轮抢夺提示语、利用体态提示以及利用沉默协商.影响交叠退出选择的主要因素有交叠类型、知情状态、礼貌需求和社会权威,尤以知情状态的影响效度最大.退出交叠后,其后续话轮一般有两种表现:一是话题重启,二是话题连贯.
Abstract
Discourse overlapping is a common phenomenon in conversation.In order to keep the conversation going smoothly,the communicative parties need to take appropriate ways to exit the overlapping.From the perspective of turn-taking,there are two kinds of exit in discourse overlapping,the marked exit and the unmarked.The former includes deliberate turn-keeping,and active turn-giving,while the latter includes the use of turn-giving prompt,turn-snatching prompt,posture prompt,and silent negotiation.The main factors influencing the choice to exit from the overlapping are overlapping types,knowledge status,politeness needs,and social authority,with the knowledge status being the most significant.After the exit of overlapping,the subsequent turns are generally manifest in two ways:the turn repair,and the turn coherence.
