摘要
近人应钟撰写的《甬言稽诂》是一部考证宁波方言的专著,该书有不少创获,也有很多失误.其学术成就主要体现在以下几个方面:考证了 一批宁波方言词语的来源和本字;揭示了宁波方言语音演变的一些特点;探讨了一些有关方言来源、构词特点、音义关系、方言接触等理论问题.不足之处主要有:考证方面的疏失;方法论方面的疏失;多说并存与同词异解等方面的疏失.《甬言稽诂》存在的问题既有个人原因,也有时代原因,所以要从历史的角度客观地予以评价.
Abstract
Yong Yan Ji Gu written by Ying Zhong,a modern book,is a monograph on the textual research of Ningbo dialect.The book has many achievements and many mis-takes.Theacademic achievements of the book are mainly reflected in the following aspects:the sources and original characters of a batch of Ningbo dialect words are researched;some characteristics of the phonetic evolution of Ningbo dialects are revealed;some theoretical issues issues related to dialect sources,word formation characteristics,phonetic and mean-ing relations,and dialect contact are discussed.The main shortcomings are:the negligence in textual research;the negligence in the methodology;the negligence in the coexistence of various views and the different interpretations of the same word.The problems in Yong Yan Ji Gu have both reasons of the individual and reasons of the times,so they should be evaluated objectively from a historical perspective.
