This article reviews the development of Shanghai model industrial, and summarize the preservation of industrial heritage according to the latest data of the 3th heritage general survey. On the background of the introducing of relative preserving police, particularly the 2010 Shanghai Expo, the reuse pattern of industrial heritage is being ordered. The development of functional replacement of reusing, conception of design and technical means proves that the reuse pattern of Shanghai industrial heritage is getting mature and diversity. Finally thinking through the extant reuse pattern by summarizing the practice of reusing Shanghai Expo industrial heritage may have some benefits to the development of industrial heritage tomorrow.
