适老化城市街道更新设计研究——以英国谢菲尔德市为例

摘要
随着全球人口老龄化趋势不断发展,部分城市街道原有设计已滞后于老龄社会发展趋势,老年人步行安全与舒适性难以得到保障,适老化城市街道设计亟需优化完善,使老年人能够平等、独立、安全、舒适地使用城市街道空间.该文以英国谢菲尔德市为例,从人口老龄化角度分析城市街道空间,通过构建适老化街道设计要素评价体系,并采用政策文献回顾与实地调研采访相结合的研究方法,在安全性与舒适性层面对部分街道空间设计展开研究,提出符合谢菲尔德实际的适老化街道更新设计导则,以期为我国适老化城市街道更新设计提供一定启示.
Abstract
With the continuous development of the global trend of aging population,the original design of some urban streets has lagged behind the development trend of aging society,making it difficult to ensure the walking safety and comfort of the elderly.Therefore,the design of age-friendly urban street needs to be optimized and improved,so that the elderly can use the urban street space equally,independently,safely and comfortably.Taking Sheffield as an example,we analyze the urban street space from the perspective of population aging.By constructing an evaluation system of age-friendly street design elements,and using the research method of combining policy literature review and field research and interview,we conduct research on the street space design in the level of safety and comfort,and put forward the updated design guidelines of age friendly street that conform to the reality of Sheffield,we hope to provide some inspiration for the renewal design of age friendly streets in China.
