Construction of Place Spirit from the Perspective of Sound:Taking International Village Community of Chongqing as an Example
In today's urban and architectural design process,place has become an important goal for design because of its functions of carrying memory and evoking people's sense of identity.People's perception of place should be obtained from the physical experience,and sound plays an important role in the process of people's experience and the construction of place spirit.Sound can enhance people's visual experience,evoke people's collective memory,and trigger people's poetic association.Therefore,it is very important to study how to shape the place from the perspective of sound.Based on the theories of place and place spirit,we explain the role of sound in place construction from the perspective of human ontology experience,taking the International Village community of Yuzhong District of Chongqing as an example,we explore the method of sound-based place construction.
