The Zhuangkuo residential buildings in Tongren City,as one of the representative regional buildings in Qinghai region,are the physical carrier of local traditional architectural culture and religious belief culture.Studying their form has positive significance for promoting local traditional culture.Taking the residential buildings in Wutun Village,Tongren City as an example,and based on field research,we analyze the relationship between local"religious beliefs and culture"and their residential forms from the perspective of cultural geography.We attempted to explore the influence of religious culture in Tongren City on the spatial layout,planar function,and architectural form of residential buildings in a unique geographical location.It is helpful to study the traditional residential buildings related to religious culture and the protection of rural revitalization in Qinghai Province.
