Simulation and experiment of annealing injection parts for distressing
An analytic method of distressing annealing was presented to reduce thermal residual stress and improve quality of injection product.Plastic ruler was studied by means of ABAQUS software.Taking the calculated result as an initial condition with optimal combination of injection molding processing parameters,the process of distressing annealing heat treatment was simulated after injection molding.Time-harden creep model was selected as the material's viscoelasticity to analyze the variety of creep and thermal residual stress.The equivalent stress of the residual stress of each time unit shows that the annealing heat treatment can effectively reduce the thermal residual stress of injection products.The effectiveness of distressing annealing and the rationality of numerical simulation are verified by water bath annealing heat treatment.
